OnePlus is all set to launch its new series, OnePlus Nord 5, at the Summer Event on July 8. The company has decided to launch two handsets at the event: OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE. On the day of the launch, the Chinese OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) revealed all the key details about both handsets. OnePlus Nord 5 will feature a dual rear camera unit, with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. On the other hand, Nord CE 5 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset.

OnePlus Nord 5 expected price in India will be around Rs 30,000. It will be similar to the OnePlus Nord 4. And the expected price of OnePlus Nord CE in India will be around Rs 24,999, similar to the Nord 4 CE.

According to the information, the OnePlus Nord 5 will feature a 6.83-inch full-HD+ (1,272 x 2,800 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the phone is confirmed to have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5X RAM.

Camera

In terms of camera, the handset will feature a dual rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony LYT-700 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 116-degree field-of-view (FoV). It is also confirmed to have a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 may come with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,392 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has confirmed that the phone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC, Mali-G615 GPU, and LPDDR5X RAM.

The handsets that have been teased will come with a dual rear camera system, with a 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).

Battery

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is confirmed to have a 7,100mAh battery that supports SuperVOOC fast charging at 80W. As per the company, the handset can be charged from 0-100 percent in 59 minutes.
